Chi O's HOOT for the Tigers!

LSU Celebrates 15o years this year!! The Chi Omega Alumnae Association always welcomes our alums to the XO house on the day of the Homecoming Game/Parade. I did these cute little owl cookies for the party. I also did these ADORABLE little owl cinnamon biscuits - not for sale, but a cute idea if you're ever looking for a creative way to serve the kiddos breakfast!! And super easy too! See below for the recipe:

CINNAMON OWL BISCUITS
1 can crescent rolls
1 bag Pretzel Goldfish
16 Hershey Kisses
Cinnamon Sugar
Melted Butter

Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Remove crescent roll from can, do not un-roll. Cut into 16 slices (cut in half, then cut each half in half again, and so on).
For each owl, use 2 dough slices - unroll a 2" strip from each. Place slices on an ungreased cookies sheet with sides touching and 2" strips at top center. For owl's horns, fold strips in half and bend toward outer edges, pinch strips at folds forming points.
For owl's beak, press 1 pretzel goldfish, tail end pointing toward top of head, into bottom center of dough.
Repeat with remaining dough slices and crackers to make 8 owls, placing them 2" apart on cookie sheet.
In small bowl, mix 1 tbsp sugar and 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Brush owls with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
Bake about 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Immediately press hershey kisses on each owl for eyes.
Carefully move to cooling rack, cool completely, about 15 minutes, before serving.
